Kurt Lawson is a photographer and visual effects artist that currently works and resides in Austin TX.
After spending most of his childhood in Houston, Kurt received the life changing opportunity to move to London to pursue his studies. This move exposed Kurt to new inspiration and pushed him in how differently he could express his artistic vision.
Eventually, this exploration led to Kurt back to the states to study at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Here Kurt found how to best harness his passion for creating visual look and feel while paying homage to the great fashion photographers of the 80’s and 90’s.
Currently Kurt is producing images in all forms, usually with a hint of complex storyline woven into its DNA. Still, each piece instilled with the insatiable passion that has made both him and his photographs such a unique and individual expression.
